TRK 065 Tractor Unit
The tractor is some 440mm long including the camera. The camera head is mounted on a pantograph-type mechanism providing a continuous height adjustment for up to 1000mm pipes and a quick release mechanism to allow the fitting of a pan and rotate camera unit. Just two screws allow the attachment of a 70W remotely controllable light head. Three sets of wheels are included; small solid for the 150mm pipe, intermediate solid for 225-300mm pipes and large pneumatic for 375mm and above. The camera centre will be positioned on the approximate centreline of the minimum designated pipe size of each wheel type. Slackening the two pantograph locking screws allows the camera head to be raised up to 300mm thus enabling a the camera to occupy the pipe centreline up to a maximum pipe centre height of approximately 490mm. Even larger diameter pipes can be inspected without obvious displacement but, depending upon the structure and condition of the pipe, the quality of picture may begin to suffer at larger diameters due to the lack of light.
